Ever wonder how to make your crokinole board fast again? Try our maintenance kit and apply a layer of MINWAX® Paste Finishing Wax to your board. Or if you have a dirty board with lots of finger marks, the odd pencil or pen mark, use Old English Furniture polish to clean off those ugly marks! Apply it all using the 3 yards of Professional Grade Cheesecloth included in the kit.
To make the board smooth again:
Put a very small amount of MINWAX® Paste Finishing Wax into the clean, lint-free cheesecloth. Fold the cheesecloth and make a ball. Rub the wood surface with the cheesecloth in a circular motion, MINWAX® Paste Finishing Wax will squeeze through onto the wood surface to provide a thin, even coat. Wipe all surfaces evenly. Buff within 10 minutes of application.
To clean the board:
Use Old English furniture polish. Shake well before using. Then pour a small amount of oil on a clean, soft dry cheesecloth. Apply to the surface, rubbing along the grain of the wood. Use sparingly and only for cleaning and stain removal. Rub out thoroughly, polishing to a rich lustre with another cloth.
