2025 Crokinole Canada Update
Crokinole Canada had quite a wild ride in 2025! With the introduction of tariffs we wondered if we'd still be selling crokinole boards to the USA!
Thankfully, all of our crokinole boards are Canadian made and so we were able to find a carrier that would honor that protection under the USMCA. Thank you DHL!
As an aside, DHL has probably the fastest shipping of all our carriers. Many customers far and wide in the USA get their boards within 2 days of ordering from us.
All this being said, we don't know what the future holds as an exporter since the USMCA is up for negotiation in 2026. With Mr.Trump being president I believe everything is on the table for re-negotiation.
Back to the happenings here at Crokinole Canada. We have done further improvements to our property in order to store more crokinole items and possibly live in the house on the property. The Amish water pump has been replaced with an electric pump so we no longer need to continually start the old pump to get water. Lights and outlets have been installed in the store / showroom upstairs.
We are currently working on getting large 4 foot crokinole boards made by Mennonites. I'm guessing there may be a possibilty that a total of 6 people can play on one of these boards. This week I will be picking up said boards and seeing how they play!
We also setup a 3 hole disc golf course at our location for customers to enjoy. We are now also able to sell disc golf baskets made in Finland onsite. Come and get your own portable disc golf basket from us and try the actual baskets out onsite. Here is what they look like:
We are actively getting Carrom Boards made once again here in Canada and trying to bring the prices down so East Indians who have immigrated here to Canada can enjoy a taste of home. We also introduced a new line of carrom rings which have started to sell. These rings are made in the USA and so are tariff-free.
With the lack of a studio type environment I have not been producing as many videos but thanks to AI I am able to place our products into Canadian-ish cottage scenes usings prompts like "warm muskoka cottage with a fireplace that's on and a dog sleeping lazily nearby" for product shots and lifestyle imagery. Here is an example image we are able to produce using AI:
It is incredible we can do this now and I thank God for this technology. I don't need a studio type environment anymore!
This year we also saw the introduction of a beautiful crokinole point tracker, an innovative one-piece crokinole wall mount (the best that is available in my humble opinion and made in Canada), the Tally and Tally Uno point trackers, and Disc Units that mount to the side of a crokinole board.
As far as boards go, we re-designed our kits (and renamed them bundles) this year with the new one-piece wall mount as we believe every board should have this type of easy-to-install mount.

Other projects that we continue to develop include our Bible Cards Game, the Get Prayer website, The Bible Times (now including a free physical comic book option), and Newspaper Templates sold on Creative Market (one of many digital asset marketplaces we sell on).
While we are not working on those projects you may catch us canoeing / fishing at the back of our new property, spreading the good news of Jesus Christ in downtown St.Marys, Ontario, or enjoying ice cream at Hearn's. We have been truly blessed with 3 young boys who are full of ideas and energy and have the same creative Spirit the breathed this world into existence.
To wrap things up, we are currently gearing up for the 2025 Christmas year. We are on the heals of Black Friday and looking forward to getting additional help to process the huge volume of orders that come in!
