Crokinole Canada - 2024 - Year In Review

New Location Setup Is Complete!

Crokinole Canada had a fantastic 2024 with many God given blessings including the move to a new store and showroom at 136779 13th Line St.Marys, ON. Also on this new property we aquired a new distribution, warehouse, and storage barn for everything crokinole! 80% of our boards are sold to the USA so this is the heart of our operation. We are primarily a Canadian crokinole product exporter!

At this new location we also have a Crokinole Seconds room dedicated to brand new boards with slight manufacturing defects sold at a discounted rate.

We continue to operate storage facilities at our home location just down the road from the new location! Crokinole Canada is truly expanding!

Since the new location was previously owned by Amish we saw to it that electricity as put in. We also put propane heating in the distribution center. We also had pavement put down as this will ensure we get the crokinole boards from the warehouse to the distribution center easily during our busy Christmas season. New lifts have been purchased for the distribution center as well as the warehouse. The front of the warehouse was plated with steel and large doors were installed on both ends for forklift access. We also installed stairs in the warehouse for ease of access to packaging materials.

New Product Launches

Crokinole Canada had a very productive 2024 and we were able to launch several new crokinole boards and products. Let's dive right in and look at these new creations:

The Royal Blue, The Navy Board

This year, we are excited to launch a really high quality crokinole board with a furniture grade finish and unique colored ditch in Navy and Blue. This board has no branding, is made by expert mennonite craftsmen, and looks amazing!

Solid Hardwood Boards

Last year we approached a mennonite crokinole shop to see if they could develop solid hardwood boards for us. Solid hardwood boards are very rare and there is only one other well known maker in the world. The reason they are rare is because solid wood can split and crack due to the fact it expands and contracts with humidity changes. To solve that problem, this board uses magnets to allow for the movement of the wood instead of glue. The playing surface will not tear from the base of the board! It just moves marginally to allow for expansion and contraction. We now have a nice selection of these beautiful handmade boards available on Crokinole Canada.

Shiraz Cherry Melamine Board

We launched this board after a successful run of the cherry/walnut version of this board and the walnut/maple version. This beginner board is a great way to learn the game without breaking your bank.

The Crokinole Canada Board No Branding

Using the same manufacturer as our Navy and Royal Blue board, we re-designed the Crokinole Canada board without the branding. This board has an excellent, furniture grade finish that feels of quality through and through. This board has clean UV printed lines, a high-grade Maple MDF surface, and stabilizing feet on the bottom.

Inlay Boards

Our good friend Jim continues to make some of the nicest artisan crokinole boards we've ever carried. This year we brought in a lot of these and have them on display in our showroom.

Updated Crokinole Kits

We have refined our kits further, eliminating the lemon oil and updating the point tracker to be a 4 player one! These kits are every tournament player's dream and contain exactly what you need for the full crokinole experience.

Bible Cards

Bible Cards have been in development for over 2 years now. The latest edition, the Dunamis edition was developed this year and it has been a lot of fun giving out these cards and also selling them through our website. They can be found on the "Other games" section of our website.

Toss Up / Dart Ball

We have been working with a game designer to get Toss Up and Dart Ball marketed. He invented the game and came to us so we could act as his distributor. So far we have sold some and are actively marketing it.

Crokinole Tally

We are excited to launch this new pocket sized Crokinole point tracker for 4 players. What is really cool about it is that it has magnetized pegs that can be stored within the tracker itself!

Mr. Crokinole

Mr. Crokinole was run by a gentleman named Wayne Kelly. He marketed his crokinole boards and accessories under the name "Mr.Crokinole". We purchased his business from his son Caleb Kelly a few years back and have adopted the name for the American division of our company. Mr. Crokinole focuses on offering our best selling boards and a curated number of accessories so that it is simple for the customer to purchase their crokinole game.

Dark Walnut Disc

It may seem like a small thing, but we needed a darker colored walnut disc so there was enough differentiation between this disc and the natural colored discs.

Packs of 100 Crokinole Discs

For bulk crokinole discs, this offering needed to be updated for all of our colors. Now you can get a better rate when buying higher volumes of crokinole discs.
