The Deluxe (Walnut Rail) by Crokinole Canada - Traditional Crokinole Board Game Set

If it wasn't for my s/o, I would have never heard about this game! Purchased it for my 29th birthday and this game is a silly amount of fun! I can see us getting sucked into playing this game for a good hour and a half at a time! The whole package, from the board to the disks, are very very very well made! The packaging for shipping was very trustworthy too! Thank you for making such a well made game that I and others in my life will enjoy for many many many years! :) <3

Beautiful board and disks. Prompt arrival. My family loves it and has been playing crokinole every day several times of day during this holiday. Also enjoyed the grid on the back for checkers.

We LOVE our crokinole board. The craftsmanship is outstanding. This is our first introduction to crokinole. We had our adult children and girlfriends over for a crokinole party and it was terrific fun with friendly competition to boot.

When I saw the board I knew I had to get one, as a kid we played on a beat up board and now we own a beautiful piece of craftsmanship at its best. Obviously made be people who care, packaged like it was glass and arrived in a speedy time frame, should have bought discs for four players, will get my kids to order and hand deliver to me.
Now to explain to our American friends what crokinole is!!

We received a crokinal canada board last year. Our kids and grandkids love to play the game so we bought 6 walnut rail boards for their Christmas.
Ted was very prompt to address our questions, the boards are excellent quality and the shipping was fast.

Our first try at this game, web surfing and found stories about the game. Searched for boards, and found this website. Board was well packed and protected for shipping, and arrived without a scratch. We have played each evening, and are looking forward to playing with friends, for a 4 person match. The board itself is very well constructed, bought some of the sawdust also for the board. We're familiar with this stuff, using it for shuffleboard at our Americal legion game. We are very pleased with our purchase, and plan for years of play.

Extremely happy with our Walnut rail deluxe board. It is very high quality, we have been playing it non stop, and our friends are addicted as well. Ted answered my question promptly, he was a pleasure to work with. I see us doing more business with him in the future for Christmas presents.

I am quite happy with my traditional walnut rail crokinole board except for one detail. I requested the natural color discs as well as the walnut stain discs and unfortunately, some of each are indistinguishable from each other! I was expecting the natural discs to be quite light and the walnut stain to be darker, but they are all a spectrum of color that blends in the middle.

The board arrived in a timely manner. It looks great. It’s fun to play on. Overall I’m pretty much happy with the purchase. My only complaint is that the board is not completely level. I have placed it on multiple surfaces and there’s a small wobble every time. The simple fix is just to stick something underneath the edge of the board and that works fine. Not a big deal since it’s an easy fix but it’s a nuisance nonetheless since after shipping the board cost $150.

Received my order today and what a great surprise! The pictures on your website don't do it justice. This is a beautiful board, with natural wood grain markings which add to the high quality of the board in my opinion. This is solid, exceptionally well made and will probably outlast us! Thank you Crokinole Canada. My husband will love it!

Unfortunately, I am very disappointed with this purchase as there are imperfections on the board. There are patches or “fillers” in the veneer on both sides of the board, instead of it being one solid surface. It doesn’t seem to affect game play however, aesthetically it is not very pleasing. I was expecting better quality for the price paid.

The service was great and the board is well made. However, the playing surface has a few pin head size bumps that affect the disks. I can also feel grain wavering although it is smooth enough.

The disk movement is a little unpredictable as they stop quite suddenly. The disk don't have a great finish either.

I was hoping for better playing service and disks as I had previously had a kroger board and this is not in all honesty a lot better from a play standpoint although much better built.

I have not tried the wax yet but I have tried to smooth out the bumps with medium success.

I purchased this Crokinole board for my family Christmas gift, and we have played almost every day since! It’s a beautiful board and is very well made. I expect it will last through generations. I debated between this board and the board with a walnut playing surface, and I have to say I am glad I chose this maple surface board. It’s just stunning with a bright look against dark walnut rails. Shipping was quick, and the sturdy board was packaged well. I know this because despite a huge boot print on the box (right next to the fragile sticker, btw), the board was unharmed! I also bought the chess pieces-they look good but we haven’t used them yet. I’m thrilled with this board and recommend it and Crokinole Canada wholeheartedly!
