Well this was worth waiting a month for. Ted is not wrong, i was not disappointed at all with my purchase.
The surface is shiny smooth and doesn't even required any wax, although i definitely recommend adding some as it just makes the whole experience even more satisfying. It does play quick although i only have experience on one other board, and it's not in great condition or anywhere near this quality.
The rest of the board is extremely well crafted, no nicks, dings, edges, scrapes, nothing. Just perfect.
Posts are responsive, stable, and very perpendicular to the surface.
Packaging and extras were all pristine - the packaging has been updated from the drop test video. Despite a few holes in the carboard box, nothing inside was even remotely close to being damaged on its trip all the way to the UK.
My entire buying experience with Ted has been some of the best customer service i've ever recieved. Ted was extremely communicative, respectful, and informative, and the board arrived exactly on time.
Already sank 4 hours into the board on my first evening owning it - a friend raced over after work and we spent all evening just playing crokinole!
Save yourself the hassle and stress and just buy from this shop.
