Not as pictured

Good concept but the wall anchors provided were not as pictured. They were the hammer in kind, and one pushed through the drywall so we had to make a run to the hardware store. The bracket is covered in an adhesive padding that peels off easily. The instructions should show how to center the board on the wall.

I think what needs to happen first is a pilot hole needs to be drilled in and then the drywall anchor is inserted into that. Then you can screw in without issues. The adhesive is pretty strong on the padding, so it shouldn't peel off as you have mentioned. The key is to have the brackets lined up with a level in order to ensure the board is centered. The included instructions do show how far apart they need to be for that to happen.
