I was recently introduced to Crokinole. I bought a cheap board to try it out to see if we enjoyed it and it was a hit even though that board was of poor quality. So, we invested in a Royal Red board and what a difference. Such high quality makes for an excellent game experience. The playing surface is so smooth the discs seem to float. We love the rubber pegs. This was built with care and attention to detail. We can't wait for our next game night.

I grew up playing Crokinole with my grandparents and it remains a family tradition when we get together. I have introduced the game to friends who had never heard of it before and they love it.

Since we replaced my cheap board with "Big Red", our enjoyment of the game has skyrocketed! The playing surface is as smooth as glass and the rubber bumpers really introduce some unpredictable ricochets into our matches. Thank goodness our board came with a 20s cup because we all seem to have gotten better at the game. Big Red working his magic, I shouldn't wonder.

We would call ourselves "over-the-moon" satisfied.

We knew your boards were very well made after we learned the game at a friends house. There are cheaper models out there, but they do not have the craftsmanship and quality like these. The first and last place I stopped on my Crokinole journey. After researching the game and other board options, I went head and purchased this one. The whole board is a joy. From it's ultra glossy finish to it's durable, sturdy design lending heft to last, to it's attractive colors of stain, this board is a masterpiece. Though myself and everyone I know has never heard of this Canadian treasure of a game, when they sit down and try it I can't get them to stop playing! The size is perfect for my appt as well.
